We are proud to offer our Privilege Pay service for all qualified checking accounts. This valuable service will save you the expense and embarrassment of checks being returned in the event of a checkbook error. With Privilege Pay, we’ll honor your checks, help you avoid service fees and late charges, provide worry-free financial flexibility and more!
Privilege Pay applies to both checks and preauthorized debits from your checking account. A service fee of $35 per item will eliminate the expense of fees charged by merchants for Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) checks. If your checking account qualifies, you will automatically be enrolled.
We have also extended this service to ATM withdrawals and debit card purchases! However, you must opt in to ensure that your transactions are covered in the event of an overdraft. If you do not opt in for ATM withdrawals and debit card purchases, your transactions will not be covered if you overdraw from an account. The service of $35 also applies to these transactions.
To manage your debit card Privilege Pay and opt-in status, log in to e-Banking.

Privilege Pay Opt In Q&A
What is Privilege Pay Opt In?
As a result of changes to Federal Regulations, we are now required to ask your permission to pay overdrafts on your everyday debit transactions. To take advantage of this service, you must opt in for Privilege Pay through e-Banking.
Why should I opt in?
With Privilege Pay, your debit card transaction can be paid even if you don’t have enough money in your checking account! We’ll cover the transaction cost for you and you’ll receive an overdraft fee of $35. Privilege Pay was designed to save you from the inconvenience or embarrassment of a denied transaction as a result of lacking funds. Best of all, there’s no fee to keep Privilege Pay on your accounts!
Please note: we pay overdrafts at our own discretion, which means we cannot guarantee that we will always authorize and pay any type of transaction. If we do not authorize and pay an overdraft, your transaction will be declined.
What happens if I don't opt in?
If you don’t opt in, we won’t be able to provide Privilege Pay coverage for your everyday debit card transactions. This could cause your account to reach a negative balance. If there are insufficient funds in your account, your attempted debit card transactions will be declined.
