Javier Roman Relationship Manager

He has worked in retail and the banking industry for over 5 years, and has held multiple positions at the credit union. Javier is fluent in Spanish and is an active member of the community. Javier also volunteers with various food pantry and homeless shelters.

Edwin Vasquez Relationship Manager

Edwin comes from New York with over 5 years of financial, sales and customer service experience. His goal here in Connecticut is to bring his city style to the suburbs. He is always eager to engage with his members to create long lasting relationships and help with their short term and long-term goals. Edwin is fluent in Spanish. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and brand new baby girl.

Darwin Montenegro Service Experience Manager

MontenegroDarwin180726NSFCU08ret.jpgDarwin completed his Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Norwalk Community College in 2014 and is looking to finish up his Bachelor’s degree. Darwin is a community activist. He has served as a mentor and is now an active member of C4D (Connecticut Students for a Dream). Darwin is fluent in Spanish and English and has over 15 years of banking and finance experience. Darwin joined the credit union as part of our merger with Housatonic Financial Credit Union. Darwin played a pivotal and vital role in fostering the success of this merger. Darwin currently oversees the Stratford Location. Darwin’s convivial and conciliatory work ethics allows him to work closely with all of our business partners to ensure that we are able to deliver an exceptional experience while growing our business in our demographics.

Nicolas Jean Pierre Service Experience Manager

JeanPierreNicolas180724NSFCU01ret.jpgNicolas has held a number of positions with Nutmeg State Financial Credit Union over the past six years. Along with his service to the credit union, he also graduated with his Associates Degree with concentration in Business from Manchester Community College and is continuing his career growth at Central Connecticut State University. Nicolas is now the Service Experience Manager at our New Britain office. He's also fluent in Haitian Creole. Nicolas is involved with his community active member in his church and youth group.
