Manchester Branch ATM Upgrade Manchester Branch ATM Upgrade We are pleased to announce that our Manchester branch drive-up ATM has been replaced with a new and improved machine. This new interactive, touch-screen ATM allows for faster and easier transactions. Please note that ATM deposits no longer require the use of an envelope. During a deposit, the ATM screen will prompt you to insert the cash and/or checks as you go. Click here for step-by-step instructions. We hope you enjoy the added convenience of this improved ATM. Just a reminder, a new ATM is already at our Rocky Hill Branch. A similar upgrade is coming very soon for the Glastonbury branch. We will share more information as the change is made.

Coming Soon… Apple Pay for Nutmeg Credit & Debit Cards Coming this Spring, you will be able to access your Nutmeg Debit and Credit Cards right through Apple Pay! If you are an iPhone user, you can use Apple Pay to securely make purchases from your phone without using your card! The App can be used safely, securely and conveniently on your iPhone 6 or higher to pay for your everyday purchases at your favorite establishments. The technology allows you keep your credit or debit cards without having to physically hand them to a cashier. Retailers only receive transaction-specific codes to process your payment and you never have to share your card information with retail staff. How to Use Apple Pay in Participating Stores: 1. Look for the Pay Wave® or Apple Pay symbol at checkout and hold your phone near the contact-less reader.

2. Place your finger on the Touch ID™. Or, you may need to enter a pass code and sign a receipt.

3. Keep your phone by the reader until it vibrates and beeps, indicating your payment was accepted.

Making payments with Apple Pay is easy and secure. The entire transaction is secure, as your credit and debit card numbers aren't stored on the device and are not shared with the merchant.

New and Improved Mobile App Coming Soon! Coming very soon, our Mobile App will have a new and improved look and feel. The updated App will not only have a sleeker look, but it will also be easier to navigate and have improved functionality. Below is a screenshot of the Accounts & Loans section. Coming Soon… New Designs for Credit and Debit Cards As part of our State Charter conversion, we will soon begin issuing Credit and Debit Cards with a new look and design. Beginning this May when you receive a new Nutmeg Debit or Credit Card it will have our new logo and have a fresh new look. 2 Cards Side by Side If you receive a card before then with our old name and logo, please rest assured that the existing cards will still work just like they always have. For added security, coming this July, our VISA Credit Card will be enhanced with a secured EMV Chip. The addition of the embedded EMV microchip is part of a nationwide movement to add extra layers of security to cards to prevent fraud and protect from identity theft. All VISA Credit Cards will be reissued with the new EMV chip this July, even if you just received a new card recently. Also coming this Spring, you will be able to access your Nutmeg Credit and Debit cards through Apple Pay! Click here to learn more about Apple Pay. Information About the Anthem Health Insurance Data Breach As you may have already heard, Anthem Health Insurance announced that hackers gained access to their company servers and may have stolen the personal information of as many as 80 million consumers. Included in the information at risk was date of birth, Social Security number, medical ID number, street and email addresses, and employment information (possibly income). It does not appear that any payment card or medical information was at risk. Anthem has established a website to provide information to the public at www.anthemfacts.com and a toll-free number for questions at 877-263-7995. Consumers who identify acts of fraud related to this breach are encouraged to report their incident to the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center at www.ic3.gov. Please be aware that we offer an Identity Theft Protection service to assist you if you are ever a victim of Identity Theft. This program will assign you a personal Identity Theft Recovery Advocate until your identity is fully restored. Click here for more information.
